Largest issuance = MGM International Project -Pointcarbon The UN last week issued fewer than one million certified emission reductions (CERs).The largest issuance to a single project was for 543,500 CERs awarded to a project cutting nitrous oxide (N2O) at a chemical factory producing nitric acid in South Africa. Project developer MGM Carbon Portfolio invested in the project, which aims to cut 960,300 tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2e) a year.
