Marco G. Monroy
President and Chief Executive Officer

Marco Monroy is the founder, President and CEO of MGM International.

Under Mr. Monroy’s leadership, MGM has become one of the leading carbon project development companies in the industry and the first one to win “The best CDM/JI Project Developer” Award in 2005.

Back in the early years of the carbon market, he pioneered concepts such as success fee based compensation, local presence in developing countries, integrated teams of professionals (e.g., scientists, engineers, financiers, lawyers, translators) to offer clients a “one-stop-solution” and innovative commercialization structures, including a diversified portfolio approach with significant benefits for both buyers and sellers.

Mr. Monroy is an attorney licensed to practice law in Colombia and the State of New York. Prior to establishing MGM International he worked as an advisor on climate change market mechanisms for the Japanese government and other private and public institutions. In 2002, the World Economic Forum named Mr. Monroy one of the 100 Global Leaders of Tomorrow (GLT).

Maria P. Iannariello
Chief Operating Officer

Maria Pia Iannariello is shareholder of MGM International where she acts as Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for managing the firm’s worldwide operations. Ms. Iannariello holds a PhD in International Finance from The George Washington University and a B.S in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Texas. Maria Pia has twelve years of professional experience in the areas of international finance, international trade, environmental economics and management.

John Mackle
Chief Financial Officer
USA

John Mackle earned his MBA degree with highest honors from Vanderbilt University and earned two Bachelor’s degrees from the University of Notre Dame. In addition, he studied Latin American Business in the Vanderbilt University and University of Florida Joint Executive Program and holds a Certificate in Latin American Business.

Mr. Mackle has extensive experience in finance in several roles; as a manager at Arthur Andersen; Chief Financial Officer and VP of Operations for LiveOps, Inc, where he was directly responsible for building and managing the operations of LiveOps from initial startup to over $18 million in revenue in 2004; and most recently as Director of Investment Banking at Ladenburg Thalmann (Ticker:LTS), where he managed projects for clients, including the valuation of privately held companies and business interests, limited partnership interests, intangible assets, intellectual property and restricted securities.

As CFO of MGM International, John is responsible for managing strategic initiatives of the Company, including equity investments, development of new business lines, implementation and monitoring of joint ventures and management of the MGM Carbon Portfolio.

Fern Silver Watts
General Counsel
USA

Ms. Fern S. Watts is an Attorney licensed to practice law in the States of New York and Florida. Ms. Watts earned her JD from Harvard Law School and a BA from Barnard College, Columbia University.

Ms. Watts has more than 20 years experience in all types of corporate and finance transactions including public offerings, syndicated credit facilities, joint ventures and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining MGM International, Ms. Watts served as Chief Legal Officer of an AMEX-traded telecommunications company and prior to that was engaged in the private practice of law in New York and Florida, including ten years as a Shareholder of Greenberg Traurig, P.A.

As General Counsel of MGM International, Ms. Watts is responsible for the worldwide legal operations of the Company and its subsidiaries, and provides legal advice and counsel to senior management of the Company. Her specific duties include the day to day management of the global legal affairs of the Company including the review and negotiation of agreements with the Company's customers, partners, and vendors.
