Gautam Dutt
Argentina |
Mr.Gautam Dutt completed a 5-year engineering training program at Rolls Royce, holds a B. Sc. from the University of London and a Ph.D. From Princeton University where he was a researcher in the Center for Energy and Environmental Studies.
Dr. Dutt's professional and academic experience includes: the founding of an energy management company in New Jersey, holding a professor position at the National University of Mexico (UNAM) and at the Energy and Environmental Group of the University of Buenos Aires, and being named an expert on climate change at the Scientific and Technical Advisory Panel of the Global Environment Facility.
Dr. Dutt has authored and co-authored a number of publications in Climate Change Mitigation.
At MGM International, Dr. Dutt is leader of the methane group and is also responsible for analyzing technologies and options suitable for CDM and for the development of baseline methodologies in new project areas.

Daniel Jones

Mr. Daniel B. Jones is a Mechanical Engineer graduated from the University of California at Berkley and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where he obtained his PhD.
Dr. Jones has more than 20 years of professional experience working in landdfill methane recovery projects, electric power generation projects, cogeneration and energy efficiency feasibility studies, and solid waste processing technologies.
Dr. Jones has also taught Mechanical Engineering at Portland State University and California State University. At MGM International, Dr. Jones is leader of the CH4 team.

Fabian Gaioli
Argentina |
Mr. Fabian Gaioli received his B.Sc. and Ph.D. in physics at the University of Buenos Aires. He received postgraduate training in Climate Change from Melbourne University Private, Australia.
Dr. Gaioli has held various academic positions in Argentina and conducted research on climate change, air quality, mitigation options, quantum field theory, non-equilibrium thermodynamics, and cosmology. He has published in various international scientific journals and delivered lectures and seminars in Latin America and the US. Before joining MGM International, Dr. Gaioli was the coordinator of the Climate Change Unit and the CDM Office of the Argentine Secretariat of Environment and Sustainable Development.
At MGM International Dr. Gaioli leads the CDM team and specializes in the development of new baseline methodologies.

Amr Osama

Mr. Amr Osama Abdel-Aziz holds a Master degree in Environmental Engineering from the American University in Cairo and a Ph.D. from North Carolina State University.
Dr. Abdel-Aziz is currently and adjunct assistant professor at the American University in Cairo. Mr. Abdel-Aziz has vast experience in climate change, air pollution modeling and emission inventory development. He is an expert at the UNFCCC reviewing annex I parties green house gases emission inventories. Mr. Abdel-Aziz has diverse consulting experience in the energy and environment fields, especially CDM. His expertise was developed by working in tens of energy and environment projects with reputable organizations including UNDP, UNEP, DANIDA, and FINNIDA.
Mr. Amr Abdel-Aziz leads MGM's team in the Middle East and Africa region and contributes to new client identification in the region. He evaluates and manages project opportunities and technologies designed to abate GHG emissions in different sectors.

Jose R. Moreira
Brazil |
Mr. Jose R. Moreira holds a Master degree in Nuclear Physics from the University of Saskatchewan in Canada and a PhD in Physics from the Universidade de Sao Paulo where he has taught for many years.
Dr. Moreira has been a researcher at Princeton University and at Sendai University in Japan and Brazilian Energy Secretary. Other professional positions he has held include: president of PROCEL, vice president at the Electric Company of Sao Paulo (CESP), advisor to the Energy Secretary of the state of Sao Paulo and executive director of Negawatt, where he has focused on the development of energy efficiency and climate change mitigation projects. Since 1995 Dr. Moreira has been a lead author of the United Nations International Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).
At MGM International, Dr. Moreira leads the CO2 and forestry team focusing on the development of energy efficiency, biomass, transport and forestry projects.

Walter Hugler

Walter Hugler is a chemical engineer from Monterrey’s Instituto Tecnólogico y de Estudios Superiores and holds a master’s degree on the same field from the University of Tulane in New Orleans.
Mr. Hugler has vast and diverse R&D experience in fields such as biotechnology, environment and management. The expertise he has developed by working in the chemical industry has allowed him to evaluate and implement projects, make decisions on firm growth strategies through mergers and acquisitions and execute energy efficiency policies. As a result of his knowledge, he negotiated the Mexican CFC Production Plan with the Multilateral Fund of the Montreal Protocol.
Mr. Walter Hugler leads the Chemical Projects Team at MGM International. As a team leader he identifies, evaluates and manages project opportunities and technologies designed to abate GHG emissions in the chemical industry while assessing the technical and financial feasibility of chemical projects worldwide. Mr. Hugler also contributes to new client
development in Mexico where he is stationed.
