Verification Support

Verification is the process of receiving formal confirmation by an accredited independent third party ensuring that carbon reductions claimed by a project activity are in conformity with established rules and the actual conditions.

In a manner similar to the Validation process, MGM International™ manages the technical and administrative challenges faced during verifications.

Verification support services can include:

1. Selection of the auditor;
2. Submission of project documentation to the auditor;
3. Training of project staff on implementation of monitoring plan guidelines;
4. Provision of technical support during verification site visit;
5. Revision and adaptation of the monitoring plan and other verification documents to comply with requests for clarifications and corrective actions required by the auditor;
6. Provision of administrative support during the process of issuance of the carbon credits (CERs, ERUs, and/or VERs).
